A VOUS CURIEUX MOTEL CAMPO PROPOSE UNE SOIREE PERFORMANCE
Pour la deuxième étape genevoise de sa série connaissance du monde expérimental, Brice Catherin propose avec son camarade Christophe Schweizer, en création suisse et en exclusivité à Motel Campo le BRISTOPHONE.
Bristophe, après avoir déclaré pouvoir jouer tous les instruments du monde, et de fait, avoir joué du violoncelle, de la contrebasse, du trombone, du tuba, du sousaphone, du cor des Alpes, de la clarinette, des flûtes à bec, des guitares, du erhu, du piano, du clavecin, du clavicorde, des grandes orgues, de l’électronique, des percussions, des jouets, des objets, des bâtiments, et j’en oublie, Bristophe, donc, décide de passer à l’étape suivante : construire son propre instrument. Le bristophone sera un instrument à cordes, vent, clavier et percussions, avec bien sûr des options électroniques. Il sera fabriqué en partie avec des techniques de lutherie traditionnelle, et en partie en facture expérimentale. Il sera noble et inclura des morceaux de récupération. Il se trouvera à un endroit mais pourra émettre des sons dans d’autres. Il sera gigantesque et raffiné à la fois.
